SUMMARY:World Archery Oceania Cup 2025
DESCRIPTION:The World Archery Oceania Executive board would like to invite you all to the inaugural “World Archery Oceania Cup” to be held in Nadi\, Fiji\, from the 10-12th of October 2025. \nThis tournament was developed specifically to ensure that WAO will have Continental competitions offered for MAs and their Archers to participate in\, on a more regular basis\, with the hope that it would help our MAs and their athletes to stay competitive and consistent\, especially leading into Olympic years. \nWe look forward to seeing you there and hope to see more events like this offered for all of our MAs in the near future. \nKind regards\, \nArne Falekaono Jensen\,\nPresident\nWAO \nOn behalf of Fiji Archery I will sending out an invitation package to all Member Associations in the coming weeks\, for now book those dates in your shooting calendar. SUMMARY:Archery NZ National Outdoor Championships 2025
DESCRIPTION:An invitation is extended to all archers to come and enjoy with us the 81st Archery New Zealand National Championships & Matchplay Open in 2025\, in Auckland. The National Championships aim to cater for all archers regardless of skill level. We would like to see as many archers as possible at the event to enjoy the fun\, friendship\, and competition. \nThe Target Championships will be decided on the combined results of the two WA 72-arrow rounds\, which will also be used as the ranking round for all Match play events. Both Individual and 3-person team match play events will be held. Youth events are designed to accommodate younger archers with distances appropriate to their skill levels\, and with helpers to assist with scoring for the younger archers. \nThe Target and Clout Championships and the Matchplay events will be held at Rongomai Park\, Te Irirangi Drive\, East Tamaki. \nThe Field Championships will be decided on the combined results from two field rounds: a 24 target WA unmarked 3D round\, and a WA 24 target marked round. The venue is Massey Archery Club\, 167 Annett Road\, Kūmeu. \nWe will host the banquet and prize giving awards in the evening of the Finals Day\, and we hope you can join us in celebrating our athletes’ and clubs’ successes. \nPlease encourage your archery friends and your supporters to join you this year at the 81st National Outdoor Championships and to participate at whatever level you all enjoy.  We also invite overseas archers to join us at this event.  We look forward to seeing you in Easter 2025. \nAndrew Russell \nOn behalf of the Auckland Archery Club Local Organising Committee

DESCRIPTION:Dear Member Associations\,\nWishing you all a Happy New Year.\nAfter listening to the feedback I received from last years Oceania Challenge we have moved the months to April/May.\nMany said they were having to change their bow set ups from winter to summer for this shoot.\nAs April/May is in our summer months I hope this will work better for our archers.\nI have made some changes to the results spreadsheet. This is to help manage the amount of time that is spent on organising the results and to keep the wording consistent. You will find that there is now drop down boxes with country codes\, class\, division and gender with the round box already being filled in. I welcome your feedback on the new spreadsheet.\nThe results will need to be received no later than Sunday 15th June 2025 @5pm NZ Time\nI would also like to ask that clubs please provide a postal address for certificates to be posted. DESCRIPTION:The Oceania Challenge is an online tournament to engage our Member Associations in competitive shooting. It is open to all members of current financial WAO Member Associations. Members who study or work in a country other than their own may compete for their home country\, as long as they hold a passport for their country or are affiliated with their country. \nThe competition will be shot on individual club grounds\, there is no need to organise a national event. However\, if it is feasible MAs may do so and use this as their national championships\, if no other event has been organised. \nEach host club chooses one or more suitable dates during the months of August/September 2024.
