Dear Oceania Judges, Club Officials and National Judge Coordinators,
TOURNAMENTS to date in 2024
A big thank you to the Judges and Technical Officials who officiated at the WAO Continental Qualifying Tournament held in Auckland, New Zealand, in March 2024, and the World Archery Oceania Para Grand Prix held in Sydney, Australia, in April 2024. Your expertise and professionalism helped make these tournaments a great success. Thank you.
OCEANIA TOURNAMENTS for 2025
There are two major tournaments in 2025 in Oceania that WAO will be supporting with officials.
- World Games Qualifying Compound Tournament 15 and 16 March 2025 in Auckland, New Zealand.
- Pacific Mini Games 29 June to 9 July 2025 in Palau.
This is an early heads up, and I will be calling for Judges for both of these tournaments in the coming months. In the meantime, could you please consider and keep these tournaments in mind when planning ahead for 2025. Any questions please email me at officials@worldarcheryoceania.org
CASE STUDIES # 120
Please find attached the Archery Australia Judges News 120.
On the last page you will find “NEW CASE STUDIES”. These have been very kindly provided by Archery Australia. There are three case studies.
I would like to very much encourage you to complete the Case Studies, they are essential continuing education and are provided to help you.
Would you please reply to the case studies directly to the AA Officials Committee Chair at officials@archery.org.au so that these replies can be collated. When you reply please remember to give reasons and quote appropriate and current World Archery rules and/or Judge Guide book to reference your answers. For WAO Continental Judges these case studies help to meet some of the reaccreditation requirements. Please keep a record of your completed Case Studies as part of recording your judging activities.
Please send your Case Studies reply direct to the AA Officials Committee Chair at officials@archery.org.au
